This motion graphic animation captures the spirit of TikTok through fast-paced visuals, 2D–3D transitions, and AI-generated music. Blending digital symbols with real-world scenes, it celebrates creativity, movement, and the evolving media culture.

Concept
This project explores how digital culture breaks boundaries - visually, spatially, and emotionally. I use the metaphor of a glowing ball with TikTok's color to represent an idea entering and expanding within the limited space of the screen, mirroring how TikTok reshapes personal expression. The choice of a sphere symbolises continuity, movement, and centrality - it's always in motion, always at the center of attention, just like trends of the platform. Through shifting formats (from vertical to horizontal, 2D to 3D), i reflect on how TikTok constantly evolves and challenges on traditional structure of media, inviting users into a participatory universe where the line between creator and audience blurs.
Approach
This project adopts a visual storytelling method through motion graphics, using a symbolic ball to represent TikTok's spirit of disruption and creativity. Starting with simple 2D forms and evolving into a dynamic 3D space, the animation mirrors the platform's growth and multimensional nature. I combined design software such as After Effects, Blender, Cavalry, and Premiere to experiment with transitions, rhythm, and spatial movement. AI-generated music and lyrics were integrated to enhance engagement and match the fast-paced energy of TikTok. Every visual element and sound is carefully adjusted to deliver a cohesive, impactful experience within 60 seconds.
